The advanced CNC machines enable simultaneous thread tapping without an adjusting chuck, also referred to as "rigid tapping."

The spindle’s backlash creates stress to one side of the cut trap or form trap accordingly. This could result in unfavorable effects such as decreased tool life, and insufficient quality in the exterior thread.

The JEL synchronous tapping chucks fix measurement discrepancies brought by the backlash and produce the necessities to attain high tapping productivity.

This can function with internal cooling and an MMS 1 channel system, thus needing only one tapping chuck.
