The ASB-70DPH is a medium sized one-step injection stretch blow molding machine which can produce containers from PET and other types of plastic resins in one machine. Due to its continual development and extreme molding versatility for a wide range of container designs and resins this is one of ASB’s best-selling series, resulting in the sale of more than 1,700 units.

Now fitted with servo driven hydraulic pumps as standard, the machine offers extremely low power consumption. In tests using the same molds, an energy consumption reduction of 40% was achieved compared with the ASB-70DPH v4 standard model, and approx. 64% reduction compared with the previous ASB-70DPH v3.

New for the Chinaplas 2016 exhibition held in April, the ASB-70DPHv4 is now offered with a factory option of extended injection clamp daylight for even greater flexibility in molding of longer preforms as is often required when molding non-PET resins, along with an increased capacity injection unit enabling higher shot volume. The safety door design has also been updated with a cleaner refreshed image that gives greater access for fast mold changing.

The machine will be demonstrated molding a 700ml Copolyester (Tritan) re-usable drinking flask in four cavities, but is also extremely capable of molding a wide range of materials such as PET, PP, PC, PPSU, HDPE, LDPE, PS etc. when fitted with a suitable mold set.
